The New York Times is reporting that earthquakes ["gempa bumi" in Malay] and rescue efforts are continuing in Indonesia:
PADANG, Indonesia, Sept. 13 — Two more strong earthquakes ["gempa bumi" in Malay] shook the coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra ["Sumatera" in Malay] today, following the major quake that hit Wednesday, but the area escaped a major tsunami like the one that devastated the region nearly three years ["tahun" in Malay] ago.
Sumatera = Sumatra.
Just over a dozen people ["orang" in Malay] were reported to have died in the earthquakes, ["gempa bumi" in Malay] although hundreds of buildings were damaged in the coastal cities ["bandaraya" in Malay] of Padang and Bengkulu in western Sumatra. NYT
